Licensing

Every purchase from Video Editor Studio includes a license to use the assets. This page is the complete, plain language version of that license. It applies to all packs, bundles, the Free Starter Pack, and the Lifetime Pass sold on videoeditorstudio.com.

The short version

  • One license covers one editor.
  • Commercial use is included. Client work, monetized videos, films, ads, and broadcast are all fine.
  • Use the assets in as many projects as you want, forever.
  • Deliver finished, rendered videos to anyone. Do not pass on the editable files.
  • Never resell, redistribute, share, or use the assets to train AI.

What you may do

  • Use the assets in unlimited personal and commercial projects, with no attribution required.
  • Use them in paid client work: videos you edit and deliver as rendered exports.
  • Use them in monetized content on YouTube, social platforms, courses, advertising, film, and television.
  • Modify, combine, and adapt the assets to fit your project.

One license, one editor

A license covers a single editor: the person who installs and uses the assets in DaVinci Resolve. If your team or studio has three editors using the assets, you need three licenses. Each editor may install their license on the machines they personally edit on.

What you may not do

  • Resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, or give away the assets or any modified version of them, on their own or as part of another template, toolkit, or asset library.
  • Share the files with people who do not hold a license, including clients and team members.
  • Hand over editable project files containing the assets. Clients receive finished, rendered videos; if a client wants to edit with the assets themselves, they need their own license.
  • Publish the assets anywhere others can extract or download them.
  • Use the assets or any derived files to train, fine tune, or seed machine learning or AI models.
  • Claim ownership of the assets or register them under any intellectual property right.

Free Starter Pack

The Free Starter Pack carries this exact same license, including commercial use. Free means free.

Bundles and the Lifetime Pass

A bundle license covers every pack inside the bundle under the terms above. The Lifetime Pass covers every pack we have released and every pack we release in the future, automatically, under the same terms.

Updates

When we update a pack you own, the update is included. Download it from your account or your original download link.

Ownership

All assets remain the intellectual property of Video Editor Studio LLC. Your license is non-exclusive, non-transferable, and worldwide, and it remains valid for as long as you comply with these terms. Serious or repeated violations end the license.
