Most asked
My title doesn't work. I'm getting a black screen.
The fonts aren't installed. That's the cause 9 times out of 10.
Open the unzipped pack folder, select all the font files, and double-click to install. Restart DaVinci Resolve.
If the screen is still black after that: check the font folder for the exact font names, then manually uninstall any conflicting font families with similar names already on your system. Reinstall the pack fonts.
Will all packs work in the free version of DaVinci Resolve?
Yes. Every pack works in both the free and Studio versions of DaVinci Resolve, across the supported version range. No additional plugins required.
How do I get better playback and performance?
Use Render Cache for real-time playback of complex Fusion compositions.
Go to Playback > Render Cache > Smart. A red bar appears above the Fusion element while it caches, then turns blue once it's done. Once cached, playback runs in real time. Re-cache after any modification to the title.
What's your refund policy?

How do I download my pack?
Three options:
- Click Download your pack on the order confirmation page right after checkout.
- Click the download link in your purchase email.
- Log into your account on videoeditorstudio.com and download from the dashboard.
How do I install my pack?
After downloading, you'll have a zip file. Unzip it. Inside you'll find installation instructions, the .DRFX file, and the fonts used in the pack.
Install the fonts first. Without them, DaVinci Resolve renders a black screen on every title. Select all font files and double-click to install.
Then double-click the .DRFX file. DaVinci Resolve opens and prompts you to install the pack. Once it's done, your pack appears in the Effect Library on the Edit or Cut page.
Where can I find my pack inside DaVinci Resolve?
Open the Edit page or Cut page, then open the Effect Library. Your pack appears under one of Titles, Transitions, Generators, or Effects, depending on what you bought.
Everything is grouped under Video Editor Studio > [Pack Name]. You can also search the Effect Library by pack name.
How do I create or access my account?
An account is created automatically at checkout, using your purchase email. You have two ways to sign in:
- Google Sign-In with the email used at purchase.
- Email and password, set up via the "Forgot your password?" link on the login page.
Only one method is active at a time. Switching to Google Sign-In deactivates password login.
How do I update my pack to the latest version?
When we ship an update, you'll get an email with a download link.
Download the new version, unzip, double-click the .DRFX, then choose Overwrite when DaVinci Resolve prompts. The fonts don't need to be reinstalled.

My title was working but now it's only a black screen.
Two likely causes.
1. The fonts have been uninstalled or corrupted. Reinstall them from the original pack download.
2. The title uses a media loader and the linked media file was deleted, renamed, or moved. Select the title in your timeline, open the Inspector, find the Loader section, and click Browse to relink the media file.
All my titles are duplicated in my library.
Two .DRFX files for the same pack got installed under slightly different names. Here's how to clean it up.
Open the Fusion page, go to Effect Library > Templates, right-click on Templates, and choose Show Folder. Find the two duplicates with similar names and delete the older one.
I'm getting a 'Warning: Unknown Tool Found' message.
The title uses a Fusion node that doesn't exist in your version of DaVinci Resolve. Update to the latest DaVinci Resolve (currently version 21) and the warning goes away.
How do I uninstall a pack?
Open the Fusion page, go to Effect Library > Templates, right-click on Templates, and choose Show Folder. Find the .DRFX you want to remove and delete it from the folder.

How do I save customized titles for reuse?
Use Power Bins inside DaVinci Resolve.
If you've customized a title and you'll reuse it across projects, save it to a Power Bin so you don't redo the modifications every time.
Will this work with my setup?
Resolutions, frame rates, free vs Studio, and platform support.
Do your assets work in any resolution or aspect ratio?
Yes for recent assets. Anything built for DaVinci Resolve 19 and later uses the Shape Node System, which auto-rescales the asset to any aspect ratio. Works for vertical timelines, square timelines, ultrawide, and anything in between.
Older assets, released before DaVinci Resolve 19, use a manual workaround for vertical timelines. Adjust size and position from the Inspector.
Do your titles work in any frame rate?
Yes for recent assets. They use anime curves, which auto-adjust animation timing to any frame rate. Animation duration can be retimed from the Inspector in the Edit page.
Older assets are fixed-rate and animate at the rate they were authored for.
Will all packs work in the free version of DaVinci Resolve?
Yes. Every pack works in both the free and Studio versions of DaVinci Resolve, across the supported version range. No additional plugins required.
Does this work on DaVinci Resolve for iPad?
No. Some of our functionality relies on scripts, which aren't supported on iPad. Desktop DaVinci Resolve only (macOS, Windows, Linux).
